A personal recount on being lost in a mall

I was in high spirits and flashed a megawatt smile. The shopping complex was packed like sardines. People were pushing and shouting through the crowd as there was a big year-end bazaar.

In the toys department, there was a variety of toys to choose from. There were toy cars, model airplanes, toy trains, teddy bears and many more. My mother agreed with my choice and I was exhilarated. When my mother was making a beeline to the snake-like queue to make the payment, I heard a weeping sound.

Being curious, I went over to investigate. To my surprise, I saw a girl sitting at a corner crying buckets of tears. I consoled her and told her not to be afraid. After a while, the girl stopped crying. My mother and I took the girl to the information counter.

My mother told the staff at the information counter to make a report about the lost girl. Can her mother come over to the information counter?

At last, a frantic-looking mother rushed towards Sally. She hugged Sally tightly and made a silent vow not to leave her daughter again. After that, she thanked us profusely. My mother and I then filed out of the shopping complex, hearts filled with happy emotions as we had done a good deed. Crickets creaked and the birds chirped merrily.

  • A crowd had already gathered there;
  • When I finished being in the electronics section, I left to the cell phone section to be with my parents.

The earth was bathed in a warm rosy glow and fluffy white magnolia clouds waltzed across the clear blue sky as the gentle breeze blew. I was having my stroll in the park while whistling when I saw the demolished building that used to be a shopping centre.

The Day I Got Lost

Upon seeing this, waves of emotions came flooding back into my mind as the scene of that incident begin to unroll like a film I have never seen before … "Shhh! Lower your volume, Tracey, do not let your brother ruin the birthday surprise we have planned for him. We tiptoed out of the house, as quiet as a mouse. The shopping centre was a hive of activities.

Mini Olympics

It was buzzing with throngs of shoppers. People were milling around, window shopping or taking advantage of the fabulous offers at the Great Singapore Sale. We took the escalator to the toys department. When we were reaching the toys department, a loud crying noise interrupted our thoughts. As we were curious, we decided to follow the cries.

With every step we took, the cries became louder and clearer. We knew we were getting close but did not stop.

  1. They called him, and he came right away! When he turned around to ask his parents to buy it for him, he realised that his parents were not with him.
  2. After buying the doll, my mother and I got ready to head home.
  3. I remember that day like it was yesterday!
  4. Being curious, I went over to investigate.

After some searching, we saw a little girl, sitting in a corner. Her eyes were puffy and her nose was red. Wiping away the tears with the back of her hand, she forced a faint smile and said "I am alright. After second thoughts, my mother and I finally made up our mind in an instant to seek help from the information counter.

  • Her worried parents broke into happiness and gave a warm hug upon seeing their little daughter;
  • When I finished being in the electronics section, I left to the cell phone section to be with my parents;
  • An announcement was made through the loud speakers that a little boy aged six whose name is Tom was lost and requested for his parents to come and pick him up at the customer service counter;
  • The shopping centre was packed like sardines as there were numerous sales going on;
  • It is such unforgettable day.

The lady at the counter told us to wait patiently while she made an announcement to inform customers that a lost child was found. After twenty minutes, the little girl's parents were soon in our sight.

Her worried parents broke into happiness and gave a warm hug upon seeing their little daughter. She is the apple of their eyes. The little girl's parents gratefully walked up towards us and thanked us profusely.

Hearing her parents compliment, our hearts swelled. From this incident, I had light bulb moments and realised the love given by our parents. After shopping for my brother's present, we went home. How true is saying "East or west, home is the best. I snapped back to reality and continued my walk. It is such unforgettable day.

The cool air-con greeted us when we stepped inside it. The shopping centre was packed like sardines as there were numerous sales going on. Suddenly, a cute little Japanese doll caught my eye. After buying the doll, my mother and I got ready to head home. Out of the blue, a distant wailing was heard. Curious, my mother and I walked towards the place where the wailing was heard from. A crowd had already gathered there. My mother handed me a sweet and I gave it to him.

He stared at me for a moment and then grabbed it from my hand. After gobbling it up, he calmed down a lot. He told me that his name was Tom and explained to me what had happened.

A while ago, he was shopping with his parents. While walking past the toys department, a magnificent toy robot caught his eye. He wandered away from his parents to catch a better glimpse of the robot. When he turned around to ask his parents to buy it for him, he realised that his parents were not with him.

I related the situation to my mother and we decided to help him. We took him to the customer service counter. An announcement was made through the loud speakers that a little boy aged six whose name is Tom was lost and requested for his parents to come and pick him up at the customer service counter. Soon, a couple was seen dashing towards us. When Tom saw them, he bounded towards them. The couple, who was his parents, embraced him with their arms wide open.

Upon seeing us, his parents thanked us gratefully and even offered us a ten-dollar note. However, we rejected the money and told them that we did what we were supposed to do and there was not a need to thank us. After bidding them goodbye, we headed a personal recount on being lost in a mall home.

This was truly an unforgettable day. I shot out of bed instantly. It was impossible to deceive myself that dawn had not arrived.

I was in an ecstatic mood on that Sunday morning as my mother was going to take me to the shopping complex nearby. Feeling exultant, my mother and I were marching to the shopping complex like a zesty soldier. We chatted blithely as we headed towards the crowded shopping complex. It was swarming with shoppers and bursting at its seams. This Power Ranger toy looks so cool!

We were looking at some toys at the toys department. Out of the blue, my mother and I were rudely interrupted by a loud wailing.

  • My mother and I took the girl to the information counter;
  • I remember that day like it was yesterday!
  • After gobbling it up, he calmed down a lot.

Out of curiosity, I followed the sound and arrived at the corner of the shop. A boy crying next to shelf caught my eye. I went up to him and ask him what had happened. He looked up and stared at me. I could see a frisson of fear gripping him as he gnawed on his lower lip. Without a moment to lose, my mother took him to the information counter to make an announcement.

At that moment, a pair of panic-stricken parents came running by. Both parents and child embraced each other in outstretched arms. They thanked my mother and me profusely and even offered us ten-dollars. However, we politely declined the kid gesture. After that, we continued with our shopping.

I had a wide grin on my face, happy to have done a good deed that day. I wish I could do more good deeds in future.
